"EVERY TIME JESUS"  |
Every time Jesus, that I see something beautiful
like wild flowers, or diamond covered snow,
glistening in the moon light,
or beautiful fall mountains,
it takes my breath away.
Every time I hear a tender story that touches,
my heart, I know you hear it to,
and the world seems brighter.
Every time I see someone smile, or hear
them laugh, my heart is filled with joy.
Every time I watch a nurse tenderly
caring for her patient,
or hear a minister consoling a lost soul,
or see someone take in a stray animal,
I know you are pleased.
Every time one door is slammed shut,
and we are left out in the cold,
You open up another door and welcome us
into the warmth and comfort of your love.
Every heartache, every pain, every tear,
every disillusionment,
and we search for you.
And every time you are there.
Every time a choir sings, or we hear a bell toll,
or have a candle light vigil for
a soldier, or a loved one or friend or
neighbor who passed on,
tears softly flow.
Every time a storm gathers, emotions stir,
and fear takes over, but then you calm the seas,
or share a rainbow,
or quiet the mountain, and are there
for those who lost their home, or loved one.
Everytime the seasons change it is not
only nature that changes
but we change as we age and grow.
Each in our own season.
Every time we sin, we feel the guilt,
and either choose to ignore it,
or seek your forgiveness.
And I remember how you forgave us,
on the cross ±
If all you have is one tiny
glimmer of hope, when things are
at their worst, close your eyes,
take a deep breath,
and whisper "I Love You Jesus",
and everytime He will be there beside you.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock...
Revelation 3:20 It is your choice how you want to live.
It is your decision how you will
handle life as it is dealt to you.
