"Darn Clocks"

Here is a funny story that happened to my hubby Joe one evening.
Though he didn't think it was funny at the time.
He needed a clock that he could hear to get up in the morning,
and his didn't seem to be doing the job.
His first problem with a clock was one he bought at local store that day.
It was a wind up alarm clock. He set it up but it was not loud enough
to wake even a light sleeper, so he decided it is going back to store.

He has an electric alarm clock that isn*t very loud,
so that does him very little good.
And the one he has that isn*t electric that he had set for that morning
to wake him up for work didn*t go off.
This is now three clocks he tried using.
SOoooooo - he got the clock off his desk that is an all weather alert alarm and clock - electric and battery operated.
He went into the bedroom where all the clocks were set on night stand.
He was setting up the weather alert clock when it started to beep.

Well he tried to shut if off and it wouldn*t shut off.
So he unplugged it. Still kept beeping. HHMmmmm!
Soooooo he took the batteries out of it. What?
It still kept beeping. HUH? What the deal?
What the heck is going on here he asked himself.
Well, as you might guess, it was not that clock but the alarm
clock that DIDN"T work that morning,
that he reset again - hahahaha .. Now it works?
He said he was driving himself nuts trying
to get the beeping to stop on the one he was working on.
So that is FOUR clocks he tried to get to work.
But remember the new one is going back to the store.

Now then, I remembered my old wind-up clock with a very loud alarm on it.
I knew it was still working and it keeps excellent time.
It has bell clangers on the top and anyone could hear that go off.

Thing is, when he wound it up, set it, pulled the
alarm button out, all it did was make a little click.
He checked everything and tried it again - click. GGGrrrrrrrrrr!

Are you keeping count? That is now FIVE clocks he worked on in one evening.
GGEESHHH!

BUT this is not the end of story.
He did set two electric clocks, and one wind up of his.
Hopefully at least one of them will surely go off in the morning,
loud enough to get him up for work.
YIKES!
HE IS GETTING SHIPPED OVER TO SPARE BEDROOM
hahahahahaha!!!!!

NOW HERE IS THE KICKER
a little after nine PM that evening
the power shut off, just a flicker,
but enough that all electric clocks had TO BE RESET.

LOL! Night Night
