HER NAME IS IN GOD'S BOOK

This morning Saturday April 10th, 2010
Shirley Treas Campbell met you God,
at your heavenly gates. I am sure her name
is in your book. She loved you and always praised
your holy name.
She prayed, she sang, she devoted her
life to you. She and her husband
Phillip raised three wonderful children.

She waited a long time for this day,
to be able to rejoice in your presence.
Your sky was crystal blue, as the
morning rays of the sun
carried her to your mansion in that beautiful heavenly world,
where there is no such thing as time.
Just eternal life singing with the other angels,
praising her redeeming Savior.

All the while she suffered with her illness,
she only thought of being with you.
She no longer wanted doctors to help her,
or chemo treatments for leukemia
she only wanted her freedom from
this world and satan, and to be with her heavenly father.

Eternal peace my dearest friend. Like
you said the last time we were together,
this past Easter Sunday, we will see each other
on that side of heaven one day. I love you.
And I will miss you. After all,
54 years of deep friendship,
and being "aunts" to each other's children,
is something that bound time and love together for us,
through good times and bad.

Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord,
is the death of his saints.

Revelations 21: 4 & 5
And God shall wipe away all tears
from their eye, and there
shall be no more death.
Neither sorrow nor crying.
Neither shall there be anymore pain.
For the former things are passed away.

and He that sat upon the throne said:
"Behold I will make all things new"

Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross

Jesus, keep me near the cross,
There a precious fountain—
Free to all, a healing stream—
Flows from Calv'ry's mountain.

Refrain:
In the cross, in the cross,
Be my glory ever;
Till my raptured soul shall find
Rest beyond the river.

Near the cross, a trembling soul,
Love and Mercy found me;
There the bright and morning star
Sheds its beams around me.

Near the cross! O Lamb of God,
Bring its scenes before me;
Help me walk from day to day,
With its shadows o'er me.

Near the cross I'll watch and wait
Hoping, trusting ever,
Till I reach the golden strand,
Just beyond the river.
