To praise your name, receive your love.
Telling you my thoughts, hearing your word.
Confessing my sins, and knowing your forgiveness.
Prayer releases my sorrow and burdens
Knowing you care and will comfort me.
Prayer and inspiration guides my life
And maybe will inspire others.
Prayer is life, love, hope, and faith,
YOU being the way.
It makes my heart be stirred,
my inner spirit be lifted,
and warm tears to flow.
Lord I cannot exist without you nor prayer.
It is my release, my fullfillment.
A binding moment, one to another
Today, tomorrow, forever.
