What We Think

WHAT WE THINK
Its pecular how the mind
works isn't it? A good question.
When things happen to us in our daily lives;
The good things, the bad things, the
so-so times when life is not black or white but gray.
When things go well, we are happy, and all is well with the world.
Those who have faith will say thankyou God. Amen!
When a little child does something cute
or says something kind they are angels,
but let them do something bad they are called little imps.
When things go wrong with adults, we get angry and cuss or throw something,
or take it out on someone. We become lost or lonely,
and feel like no one cares. We hate ourselves
and then we ask God why is this happening
as if it is His fault. Whoa!
That is if one believes at all that God and Satan
are real. Believe it - they are real.
Good and evil are with us each and every day.
Satan on one shoulder leading us into temptation,
and God on the other shoulder asking
us to believe in His word.
When someone does good deeds, such as
caring for someone who is down and out,
or giving food to someone who is hungry,
or telling a person how much God loves them,
and to trust God's word that His son Jesus
died on the cross and we will be forgiven.
Satan the seducer will slowly try to enter
our lives, with promises of rewards.
Refer to the temptation of Christ.
Matthew Chapter 4 - Verses 8 & 9.
Satan lied to Adam and Eve
and told them they would be as gods.
Refer to Genesis 3 - Chapter 1 through 13.
If you pick up that alcoholic drink,
then another and another, what happens to your mind?
Are those drugs you are trying destroying your
mind and body? We must be on guard constantly.

The forces of good and evil are in all of us.
They are powerful and can pull us in different directions.
However we are free to make our own choices
how we want to live. Satan is forever persuing us,
leading us astray and how easy
it is to follow him.
Remember Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand
of God the Father and is our advocator.

God and satan are in constant battle
but in the end God will win as it is written in the Bible.
Joshua Chapter 24:15
Choose today whom you will serve.
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.
God's heavenly home or Satan's fiery hell?
The choice is yours.
