"GOD VERSUS SATAN"

"Visualize This"
~~~~~~
A father and two sons. The sons are arguing and the father does not know who to believe. Each of them are confusing their father but he must be strong and try to calm them down, talk to them, teach them how important the truth is and how they should deal with it.
Now Visualize This:
~~~~~~
You or me standing between Satan and God. Wow! What a picture that is. Ponder this for a moment. You or me standing between the two most powerful forces in the universe. Knowing that what we choose in the end will be heaven or hell. Unless you believe not at all.

We must understand that we can't have it both ways.
We have to make a decision between evil versus good.
God's Holy word (Bible) or satan's chaotic decadent unholy lifestyle.
Or live a nearly non-existant life.

So many times when things are good, we think we did it ourselves.
We handled a given situation well.
Then there are people who will say thankyou God, for helping us through troubled times. We praise thy Holy Name.
But when things go wrong, because satan tempted us with something sinister,
or hurt a loved one, who do we usually blame.
For some reason we are quick to blame God.
Why?

Why do we blame God when things don't go our way.
Why are we not saying "satan get ye behind me?"
Or "satan get out of here and leave me alone?"
Satan tempted Job, and Job lost everything he had,
family and wealth, then when all was gone,
Job's wife said to him "curse your God and die."
Refer to Job Chapter 2: verses 9 & 10

While in this horrific situation, Job in chapter 13, verse 15,
makes one of the most profound statements in the scriptures:
"Though God slays me, yet will I trust Him.
I will maintain mine own ways before Him.

Folks, satan is loose and on a rampage.
He is destroying our country, our world.
And he will get as many followers as he can, to fall away from God.
He will lure you into doing drugs, stealing, lying, cheating, lusting, killing, maiming, destroying peoples lives.
Destroying your life.

We live between two very powerful forces.
Each of them wanting our souls.
We must make a decision as to who and what we want in our lives.
There are so many nice things out there we could own,
but don't really need. There is easy money,
and many temptations that are so hard to resist.
Satan also can bring down a loved one with sickness,
or take away our own health. He is right there
luring us to do things that in the end
will cause pain, heartache, depression, hell.

God won't force anything on you or tempt you.
He only asks that you love Him in return for his love,
and follow His commandments. And help those
who are going through difficult times.
So allow Jesus into your heart, and ask for forgiveness.

How long has it been since you talked to God or Jesus?

Think things through carefully. Let your
heart be opened and your soul lifted.
Even though the answers might not be what we want.
Or the timing might be off.
God is a giver: With satan we will pay with our souls.
Satan is a payer.

Romans Chapter 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; But the gift of God
is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

"LOOKING FOR GOD?"

The following poem was written by my friend Jack Young
And used with permission.

"OLD SATAN"

Get thee behind me satan
I've got no time to deal with you.
I'm Heaven bound since Jesus I found
So old satan, I'm through.

Satan you tried to tempt Jesus
By Offering lots of worldly things.
It didn't work then when He walked among men
And he still is our Lord and King.

Satan you can no longer control me
Just like you used to do.
Jesus is there and he answers my prayer
I've started my life anew.

Satan I am on to you now
I know what your are trying to do.
To claim my soul is your only goal
But Jesus will lead me through.

God's way is not like yours old satan
He is never known to lie and cheat.
I've heard all your lies but I choose paradise
You might as well accept your defeat.

Old satan is always lurking
Waiting to gain our soul.
But he can't win if we let Jesus in.
And make Heaven our only goal.

We had better watch out for satan
And we better not let him in.
I had to choose and satan you lose
So don't come around here again.

So get thee behind me satan
You rule my life no more.
Jesus died for me on Mt Calvary
He is waiting on Heaven's shore.
