Bluejay Welcomes You To
Writings From The Hearts Of Friends

The following poem is dedicated to all the wonderful poets and writers I have met here on line.

To Write A Poem

To write a poem, is to me
An awesome, mind searching task.
It is letting the spirit go
And taking off the mask.

It is telling others how we feel
Be it good, bad, or indifferent.
Be it of love, or friendship, or thoughts to ponder
It is about how our lives are spent.

We inscribe on paper a part of us
Pieces of knowledge, wisdom, bits of life.
Our joys, our successes, our loves.
Our pains, our guilts, our strife.

But I can't think of a much nicer way
To tell the "future" about the past.
Then to write a story - telling poem
That will forever last.
